Read about Globeteam’s history from its foundation in 2001 up until today
Globeteam was founded in 2001 by Claus Moldow, Morten Strunge Nielsen and Erik Arnbak. Based on their own experiences in the IT industry, they wanted to create an alternative consultancy company that put an end to the high salaries and expensive perks that characterised the industry during the dot-com wave.
The vision was to attract and retain the most talented consultants through a model that focused on professionalism, teamwork and responsibility – and where the consultants themselves invest in the company and share the risk with the owners.
This became a unique business model that Globeteam still builds on today: a hybrid between a traditional consultancy firm and a freelance model, where consultants are measured and remunerated solely on the results they generate for the team and our customers.
Since then, Globeteam has developed into one of Denmark’s most trusted consultancy firms within strategic consulting and IT solutions. In 2025, we were incorporated into the Polaris private equity fund’s portfolio and merged with the consulting firm 7N.
Both brands are now united under a joint group management led by Sebastian Podlesny, former CEO of 7N.
The merger combines Globeteam’s strength in project sales and complex deliveries with 7N’s global network of specialised IT consultants. Together, we are a significantly larger player with strategic depth, access to the market’s leading specialists and great potential for growth across sectors and geographies.

Here we take a closer look at some of the milestones that have had the greatest impact on Globeteam’s development. From the early years, when the organisation grew and required new forms of management, to the merger with 7N in 2025.
2010 - New organisation and management style
By 2010, Globeteam had reached a size that necessitated changes in the organisation. The consulting group was divided into smaller, more focused teams with associated team leaders, and at the same time, Claus and Erik redefined their roles in the company.
Erik wanted to continue as a consultant but focus his remaining time on other things. Claus continued as CEO and decided on a change in management style. Previously, decisions were not made until all managers agreed, but this did not work with the company’s growth and business model. Claus therefore started a training course as an executive coach in the summer of 2010.
This was the first step towards a change from consensus management to a more coaching-oriented management style.
The new, redefined role and management style allowed for dialogue, where the consultants themselves make the decisions and thus help set the direction and strategy for Globeteam with the support of future shareholder Kirk Kapital. This style fosters a creative space where there is room for disagreement and dialogue.
2018 - A new chapter with Kirk Kapital
Over the next few years, Globeteam continues its strong growth. A sales department is established to support the consultants, Globeteam’s services are focused on the business areas of Business Consulting, Infrastructure and IT Development, the positive development is reflected in the turnover, and in 2014 Erik hands over the chairmanship of the board to Mogens Elsberg.
At the beginning of 2018, Globeteam welcomed one of the heavyweights of the business world into its circle of owners. Kirk Kapital, the Lego family’s holding company, acquired 34% of Globeteam for a significant double-digit million sum. This was achieved by Kirk Kapital buying C13 and Erik Arnbak out of Globeteam.

Thus, Erik leaves Globeteam entirely, both as a consultant and as member of the board of directors.
In 2020, while Denmark is shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, Globeteam succeeds in resaddling and keeping up with the needs created by the crisis in society. Among other things, this means that two new teams dealing with cyber and information security as well as process and solution management come into being.
2021 - Norvestor and a new Nordic direction
In 2021, Norvestor VIII, a fund managed by the Nordic private equity player Norvestor, acquires a majority stake via Kirk Kapital and Claus Moldow. Both Kirk Kapital and Claus Moldow continue as shareholders, as does Morten Strunge Nielsen.

2025 - Polaris merges Globeteam and 7N into a single group
In 2025, Polaris acquires Globeteam from Norvestor and Kirk Kapital with a view to merging Globeteam with 7N, which Polaris already owns.
This will bring together two of the market’s most specialised players into a powerful IT partner that combines strategic consulting, strong project delivery and flexible access to highly qualified IT consultants.

Sebastian Podlesny, former CEO of 7N, will become Group CEO of the new group. Andreas Strandbygaard will join the group management as Chief Solutions Officer (CSO) and will continue as Managing Director of Globeteam, a position he has held since 2024.
Claus Moldow will continue as senior advisor to the management, and CTO Morten Strunge Nielsen will become Head of Global Solutions Delivery with the task of expanding the Globeteam division’s project sales internationally.
